A friend is searching for an old Swedish meatball recipe with original heavy ingredients. Most Swedish Meatballs (frikadeller) recipes are a combination of ground beef, pork, fresh rye bread crumbs, chopped onion, milk, egg, salt, pepper, shortening, condensed creamy chicken mushroom soup, sour cream and water. Here are some sites that recall how mother made these holiday buffet favorites.

Thank you so much now I have the recipe and even better I found out that Betty Crocker reprinted the recipe book from the 1950's so I can replace the lost book.
